You never know what kind of stress your security locker (and its contents) might be under in an emergency. Steel security lockers can withstand large impacts and high temperatures better than plastic lockers. However, ordinary steel cannot be used in many refineries because of the risk of exposure to various chemicals that can quickly corrode the metal without a strong protective oxide layer.
To provide the best resistance to physical shock, high temperature and chemical exposure, high-performance materials such as 304-grade stainless steel must be used. Durable stainless steel security lockers can withstand years of everyday use without rusting and becoming difficult to open – critical in emergency situations when workers need quick access to the contents of the locker.
Before any Custom 304 Stainless steel cabinet design is given the green light, it starts with a virtual physical simulation of it to test it against the conditions to it will be exposed to. This finite element analysis (FEA) test can simulate decades of use in minutes. If the cabinet bends the width of a human hair, the design fails and needs to be redesigned until it passes.
